Neomium GmbH was founded in 2022 and is working on sustainable electric powertrain components and a novel efficient cargo drone concept, supported by the Deutsche Bundesstiftung für Umwelt and the Bavarian Ministry of Economy. Your main responsibility will be backend and frontend development for our open-source enterprise resource planning tool (“ERPNext”) as well as our internal communication platform (“HumHub”).

Your Responsibilites

Software development for internal open-source systems

• Development of internal and upstream modules
• Contribution to upstream open-source modules
• Conceptual UI/UX design
• Improving code quality (CI/CD pipeline)

Key Qualifications & Skills

• Experience in web development and Python programming
• Basic knowledge about domain driven design and unit testing
• Enrolled in a relevant course of study (e.g. IT, Business Informatics)
• Basic English and/or German proficiency

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning systems
• Experience with domain driven design and unit testing
• State-of-the-art PHP backend development
• CI/CD, Linux, Git and Jenkins experience
• Open-Source development

This role offers flexible working hours and can be carried out mostly remotely. Yet, occasional visits to our HQ between Munich and Rosenheim are advised to see the outcome of work and discuss progress in person.

You will meet a small, young and diverse dynamic team there, working on inspiring drone and electric powertrain components. The company is located close to the Alps and accessible by public transport, within a five-minute walk to “Westerham” train station.
