The WS85 UART Sensor is a cost-efficient ultrasonic wind sensor with no moving parts, professionally pre-modified to work directly with your BreezeDude transmitter. It is an ideal choice if you want robust, real-world wind measurements without the maintenance and wear you get from mechanical sensors.

What makes this version special:

We pre-modify the WS85 for UART + power and ship it with the correct cable gland and JST-PH (black) connector installed, so it becomes a true plug and play wind sensor in combination with a BreezeDude sender.

The WS85 is designed for outdoor deployments and integrates an ultrasonic anemometer and a haptic rainfall sensor in one compact housing.
(Depending on your BreezeDude firmware configuration, you typically use the wind data; additional sensor channels may be supported depending on software.)
