Building upon the original BreezeDude design, the Mini offers a more compact and efficient solution without compromising on performance.​

• Versatile Wind Sensor Compatibility: Supports Ecowitt WS80/WS85/WS90 ultrasonic sensors and analog sensors like the DAVIS 6410, providing flexibility based on user preferences.​
• Integrated Pressure Sensing: Equipped with barometric pressure sensors for comprehensive environmental data collection.​
• Efficient Communication: Utilizes LoRa modules (RFM95W, SX1262, or LLCC68) with an SMA antenna connector, ensuring long-range and reliable data transmission over the 868MHz band.​
• Compact and Energy-Efficient Design: Powered by a SAMD21 (Arm® Cortex®-M0+) microcontroller and a 1S Li-Ion 16340 750mAh battery, with options for external 18650 batteries and 5V solar charging, optimizing for low power consumption.​
• User-Friendly Connectivity: Features USB-C, I2C, and dual UART interfaces, facilitating easy setup, firmware updates, and integration with other devices.​

The BreezeDude Mini is engineered to provide accurate wind measurements by transmitting sensor data at 40-second intervals. These transmissions are received by nearby FANET-enabled variometers and ground stations, which then relay the information to the Open Glider Network (OGN).
