Development Engineer
(Power Electronics)

Neomium GmbH was founded in 2022 and develops sustainable components for electric propulsion systems as well as an innovative and efficient cargo drone concept.

Your primary focus will be on the further development and optimisation of our CÆSIUM motor controller series, as well as the development of new battery systems. These are based on our patented weld-free magnetic contact technology and an already functional prototype with a distinctive form factor.

In this position, you will be involved throughout the entire product development cycle—from the initial design to market launch.

Your responsibilities

• Optimization and further development of motor controller designs in the voltage range from 150 V to 600 V
• Development of a modular battery system series for various applications
• Adaptation of the existing battery management system (PCB and wiring) in collaboration with our embedded systems developer
• Comprehensive optimization and testing of the various components
• Improvement of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and support for the certification of the battery systems in collaboration with our partners

Your profile

• Master’s degree in a relevant field and several years of professional experience in power electronics and/or the development of battery systems or battery modules
• In-depth knowledge of PCB design, ideally using KiCad
• Experience with CAD software, ideally SolidWorks
• Initiative and a willingness to actively contribute your own ideas
• Excellent written and spoken German and English skills
