What is mcc©?

mcc© stands for “Magnetic Cell Cluster” and refers to a globally patented, reversible battery architecture developed by Neomium GmbH. Unlike conventional battery packs, the cells are neither welded nor bonded, ensuring that each individual cell remains accessible. Based on the cell-to-chassis principle, magnets allow customers to replace individual cells themselves.

The key difference

In conventional battery systems, even a single damaged or aged cell can reduce the capacity and performance of the entire battery pack. Since the cells are permanently interconnected, repairs are either technically complex or economically unviable. As a result, entire modules or complete battery packs are often replaced, even though the vast majority of the cells are still functioning perfectly.
