The WS85 UART-Sensor is a cost-effective ultrasonic wind sensor without moving parts, professionally designed for direct use with your BreezeDude transmitter has been preconfigured. It is the ideal choice if you require robust, practical wind measurements without the maintenance requirements and wear associated with mechanical sensors.

What makes this version special:

We modify the WS85 for UART communication and power supply and deliver it with the appropriate cable gland and a pre-installed black JST-PH connector. Combined with a BreezeDude transmitter, it becomes a true plug-and-play wind sensor.

The WS85 is designed for outdoor use and combines an ultrasonic anemometer and a haptic rain sensor in a compact housing.

(Depending on your BreezeDude firmware configuration, the wind data is typically used; additional sensor channels may be supported depending on the software.)
